Pobitora National Park

Shillong

Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and stunning limestone caves. Nohakhali waterfalls are the tallest waterfalls in India. It is located near Cherrapunjee. The Seven Sister Waterfalls also located in Cherrapunjee. The waterfall is falling down from a height of 315 meters from the Khasi hills. The fall is at its peak during the monsoon season. Mawsami cave is the most popular and mysterious cave in Meghalaya. Eco Park is a popular place to visit in Cherrepunjee. The park is created by Meghalaya Government in the plateau. The park offers a magnificent view of the Sylhet Plains of Bangladesh. Thangkharang Park is 12 kilometers away from Cherrepunjee and one of the famous tourist spots in the city. It offers a panoramic view of Bangladesh and Kynrem’s falls.

Mawlynnong

Mawlynnong, also known as “God’s Own Garden”, is the cleanest village in Asia. The place is located in Khasi Hills in Meghalaya.  The villagers take the initiative to make the village clean. The Khasi tribe is the biggest charm of the village. The main attraction of the village is the Sky View. This site has a viewing tower and you can see the beautiful landscape of Bangladesh.

Mawjymbuin Cave

The Mawjymbuin cave is made of calcareous sandstone and one of the most important tourist destinations in India. The cave is famous for its naturally created “Shivlinga” which is made of stalagmite. Day 01: GUWAHATI

Pickup from Guwahati airport and transfer to Hotel. Check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 02: GUWAHATI - KAZIRANGA

Early morning, proceed to Kaziranga Forest for Jungle Safari by Gypsy / Elephant. After lunch proceeds to Kaziranga. Check-in at Hotel (at own cost) and overnight stay.

Day 03: KAZIRANGA

Kaziranga National Park - The World Heritage Site is the oldest park in Assam & is located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. The area of this National Park is 430 Square Kilometres. Kaziranga National Park is a natural habitat for the conservation of biologically diverse flora & fauna. It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses besides sheltering about 15 species of India's threatened mammals. There is numerous other major wildlife fauna. Early morning proceeds for a Jungle safari by Gypsy / on elephant back in the central range of the Park. After Safari, back to the Hotel. After breakfast visit Behora Tea Garden and back to the Hotel. After lunch proceeds for Jungle safari (Jeep safari) in the Central Range (Kohora) of the Park. After that, back to the Hotel and overnight stay. (at own cost).

Day 04: KAZIRANGA – POBITORA

After early breakfast, proceed to Pobitora. Check-in at Hotel. And enjoy with elephant ride, boating, shooting, trekking & rock-climbing along with bird-watching & swimming. Pobitora is mainly famous for its great Indian One-horned rhinoceros. Besides rhinoceros, the other animals are leopard, wild boar, Barking deer, wild buffalo, more than 2000 migratory birds, and various reptiles. The area of this Forest is 38.8 Square Kilometres. Overnights stay in Resort.

Day 05: POBITORA - SHILLONG

After breakfast, proceed to Shillong. On the way visit Barapani Lake. Check-in at Hotel and after refreshment visit Cathedral of Marry and Shillong’s famous Police Bazar on foot. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 06: SHILLONG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast proceeds to Shillong, local sightseeing covers Lady Hydri Park, Wards Lake, St. Paul's cathedral, and 18 hole golf course. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 07: SHILLONG - CHERRAPUNJEE

The morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world on the way visit Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls situated on the outskirts of the city. After a drive of 1 ½ hour amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunjee, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sister falls, Mawsmai Caves, Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park, and the Thangkharang Park. Overnight in Cherrapunjee

Day 08: CHERRAPUNJEE- MAWLYNNLONG – DAWKI - SHILLONG

Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the skywalk. Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge. Later drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. it is a splendid drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, he Umngot river is the natural boundary between RiPnar or Jaintia Hills with HimaKhyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single-span suspension bridge was constructed. Later back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 09: SHILLONG- MAWSYNRAM- SHILLONG

After breakfast, visit Mawsynram. Interesting places are Mawjyngbuin Cave, Shiv Ling, Kheng Kheng (Cracked Rock), Rit Mawksir (viewpoint). After that, back to the Hotel and overnight stay.

Day 10: SHILLONG - GUWAHATI

After checkout proceeds to Guwahati. Reach at Guwahati and check-in at Hotel. After that proceed to Guwahati local sightseeing, Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra, Umananda temple, State Museum & Emporiums for local ethnic products, Zoo. In the late afternoon, enjoy with Brahmaputra river cruise. After that, back to the Hotel and overnight stay.

Day 11: GUWAHATI TO AIRPORT DROP

After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Mata Mandir, after that drop at Guwahati Airport.
