Nainital

Nainital is a popular hill station in Uttarakhand. It is located in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. Nainital is also called “Lake District of India”. Nainital is a beautiful hill station surrounded by mountains on three sides. The beautiful lake Nain Tal is a worthwhile place to visit. This beautiful small town is encompassed by seven hills famously known as “Sapta Singh”.

Bhimtal Lake

You can find Bhimtal Lake in the town of Bhimtal in Uttarakhand. It is one of the largest lakes in the Kumaon region. The lake provides drinking water to the vicinity and also supports aquaculture with a variety of fish species. Tourists will find an island at the center of the lake which is built as a tourist destination and you find an aquarium.

Sattal Lake

Sattal is a cluster of seven freshwater lakes situated in the lower Himalayan range near Bhimtal. The lakes are located amongst dense forests of oak and pine tree. These lakes are a paradise for migration birds.

 Naukuchiatal

Naukuchiatal is a small lake village located in the Nainital district. The place is mainly famous for its nine cornered lake which measures up to 1 kilometer in length and 40 meters deep. The lake is covered with trees and shrubs. It is the deepest lake tourist can find in the Nainital. Within the valley, you can have the opportunity of angling and bird watching. “Escape festival” is a famous occasion which happens once every year in the month of May.

Himalayan View Point

Himalayan Darshan is also known as the Himalayan viewpoint is a vintage tourist spot in Nainital. The site offers an eye-catching view of several prominent Himalayan peaks along with the valley below. It is a good place to spend time in nature.

Haidakhan Temple

The Haidakhan temple is located in Haidakhan Baba Ashram. The temple was built by the Haidakhan who is believed to be the incarnation of Lord Shiva. Haidakhan temple sightseeing is included in our Kumaon tour package.

Chaubatia

One of the best places considered to be visited in Ranikhet is Chaubatia. The place is popular because of its botanical garden and fruit orchid. The garden dominantly hosts apple, peach, plum, and apricot trees. Government operated fruit and vegetable research center is located here.

Baijnath Temple

Bajinath is a small town located on the banks of the Gomoti River. The place is known for its ancient temples. These temples are one of the very few temples where Parvati is depicted with her husband Shiva. The temples are famous among Hindu pilgrims. Every year millions of devotees come here on the occasion of Shivaratri and Makar Sankranti. Bajinath temple sightseeing is included in our Kumaon travel package.

Corbett National Park

Jim Corbett National Park is established in 1936 to protect the endangered Bengal tiger and it is the oldest national park in India. The park was named after the naturalist and hunter Jim Corbett. The park comprises around 110 tree species, 25 species of reptile, 50 species of mammals, and other types of animals.

Day 1: Delhi – Nainital (310kms/8hr)

Pickup from Delhi Railway Station/Airport, drive to Nainital. Check-in Hotel. Evening free for boat ride at Naini Lake (On their own). Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2: Nainital (Local Sightseeing)

After breakfast drive for lake tour of Bhim Tal, Sat Tal, Naukuchia Tal. After Noon visit Rope Way, Himalaya View Point, Boating at Nani Lake, Mall Road. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3: Nainital - Kausani (5hr, 120kms )

After breakfast, drive to Kausani via Ranikhet. Enroute visiting Ranikhet sightseeing of places like Hairakhan Temple, Chaubatia, and Bhaludam, etc. Kausani is ideal for those who seek to escape from the din and dust, hustle and bustle of big cities and wish to spend a quiet holiday in the lap of nature. Check-in Hotel at Kausani.

Day 4: Kausani

Early Morning visit Sun Rise at Himalaya from Gandhi Ashram. After B/F visit Tea Garden, Tea Factory, Baijnath Temple. Evening visit Sunset at Himalaya from Gandhi Ashram. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5: Kausani – Almora (1 h 49 min ,52.5 km)

After breakfast transfer to Almora. The region is covered with alpine flora, ferns, hanging moss, and innumerable species of wildflowers. On arrival transfer to Hotel. Evening free for relaxation. Overnight stay at Almora.

Day 6: Almora – Corbett National Park (3 h 42 min ,131.3 km)

After breakfast, drive from Almora to Corbett National Park later drive to Corbett National Park. O/N Hotel

Day 7: Corbett National Park:

Early morning visit Corbett Jungle Jeep Safari. Corbett National Park. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is the majestic Corbett National Park. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it is famous for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards, and Elephants. After fresh up visit Corbett Museum. Dinner at Hotel. O/N Hotel.

Day 8: Corbett - Delhi (280kms/7hr):

After early breakfast drives back to Delhi. On Arr. Delhi, transfer to Railway Station / Airport
