Padmapuram Gardens
Padmapuram Gardens is a famous botanical garden located in the valley of Araku. The garden was built in 1942 to disburse vegetables to the soldiers of World War II. Then after the war, it was transformed into a horticulture nursery with a training centre. The nursery now holds exotic and rare species of flowers and trees. Another beautiful feature of the garden is the Toy Train which is planted in the garden to give the tourist a tour of the entire garden.
Araku Tribal Museum
Araku Tribal Museum was founded in 1996. It serves the purpose of creating awareness of tribal culture and lifestyle. The valley houses 19 tribes that live close to the town. The museum consists of several clay monuments which show their day to day life. Various artefacts like jewellery, kitchen utensils hunting tools have been showcased in the museum.
Borra Caves
Borra Caves is one of the largest caves in the country discovered by William King George. Borra Caves is 100 million years old which attracts huge tourists all over the world. It is believed that it is formed because perennial water flows over millions of years. Species like bats and Golden Gekko lizards can be found in the caves.
Galikonda View Point
Galikonda is the highest viewpoint of the Visakhapatnam district from where you can experience lush green Araku valley. It is the second-highest peak in the Eastern Ghats inhabited by different tribes.
Katiki Waterfalls
Katiki is the place where the Katiki waterfall is located. Goshen River gave birth to a 50 ft high Katiki waterfall. It is a famous attraction for nature lovers. There is a crystal clear pond down the hill where you can sit, take a bath, or enjoy yourself with your friends.

Kailasagiri is a hill station offering a beautiful view of the Bay of Bengal. The name of the hill derived from the word Kailasa which means Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The main attraction of the hill park is ropeway trolleys, the enshrined structure of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Indira Gandhi Zoological Park
Indira Gandhi Zoological Park is located in the Eastern Ghats, It is a part of Kambalakonda Forest Reserve and. The park houses 80 different species of animals. The park has dedicated sections for verities of animals. The park also has different sections for moths and butterflies. But this section of the park remains closed during late hours of the day.
Simhachalam Temple
Simhachalam Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is one of the 32 Narasimha Temples in Andhra Pradesh and an important pilgrimage destination. It was originally known as Varaha Lakshmi Narsimha temple. It is a popular temple of Lord Narasimha which offers holy vibes to the devotees.

Thotlakonda
Thotlakonda is a Buddhist complex located on the top of the hill of Bheemunipatnam. Thotlakonda means troughs that are used to store rainwater. You can see these cisterns cut out of rock beds of this hilly region. These cisterns used to serve water to the inhabitants of the monastery. You can also see Buddhist Padas in Tothlakonda.

Submarine Museum
The Submarine Museum or INS Kurusura is an actual submarine located on RK Beach close to the War Memorial in Visakhapatnam. INS Kurusura is in service for 31 years and was decommissioned in 2001. The submarine is 91.3 meters long and 8 meters wide. This submarine can accommodate 77 sailors at a time and can reach a speed of 15.5 knots. It was modified to allow the visitor to take an inside view of the submarine.
